Easter Everywhere

I've finished reading McMurtry's latest and I was disappointed. It's really nothing more than a middle-aged grandpa dealing with his sexual frustrations and how they are abated. Not much can be said about character development. I would have liked to have known more about why the main character's daughters made the paramount decisions about how to live their lives. Ah well--prolific doesn't necessarily mean profound.
Another new author to me---Darcey Steinke. Her new book is a memoir entitled "Easter Everywhere" about her experiences as the daughter of a minister. It's a quick read with some quirky childhood exploits. At the end, the reader does come away with a sense of "knowing" Steinke's parents and gives us more insight into the author.
All for now!
