Handle with Care by Jodi Picoult

Without exception (well maybe one or two) I enjoy reading this author’s work.

Her latest entry is about a young child who is diagnosed with O.I. which essentially means she suffers from brittle bone disease. The author has obviously researched this topic well and integrates her findings into the storyline with ease.

This is a story about taking a risk for what appears to be a valid reason. It makes the reader think about what they might do in a similar situation. As usual, Ms. Picoult’s expertise lies in the telling of stories that are not black and white but rather shades of gray.

A predictable ending when you consider some of this author’s other endings but none-the-less worth reading, especially if you are one of her diehard fans.
