The Second Opinion by Michael Palmer

The auspicious head of a large medical facility located in Massachusetts is struck down by a hit and run driver. The medical facility is prominent in the field of treating cancer patients with experimental drugs and putting them in remission.
Father of four grown children (two of which have Asperger’s Syndrome), the administrator remains in a “locked in” state, unable to communicate until one of his doctor daughters notices some eye-movement. Through a series of eye movement and letter identification, the daughter is given a clue which starts her on an investigation into what has been happening at the facility.
This was an entertaining medical thriller of the highest caliber. Well worth the read!
