Lost December by Richard Paul Evans

A new twist to an old old story, this latest entry by Mr. Evans is a light entry just in time for the holiday season.

Luke Crisp in on a journey. The reader will view it as a journey of destruction but Luke views it differently at first. He longs to be part of a group of friends, having been a loner for most of his life. He is taken advantage of and chooses to ignore it until he is left without friends and without money.

The prodigal son is an old story but worth telling again in a contemporary fashion. It reminds us how quickly life can change and how a second chance to redeem oneself is just around the corner.
