Sisters by Patricia MacDonald

Another new author to me, Patricia MacDonald's new book is very interesting.  She hooks the reader in by presenting a plausible circumstance where a young woman discovers she has a half-sister out in the world that she was unaware of.

The author goes on to develop the character of Dory as one who is in prison for murder.  Her half-sister Alex is intent upon clearing her name and will go to great lengths to do so.

While this story does not have the solid content of a John Grisham novel, it is a good, short read for those readers interested in legal entanglements.
