Deliver us from Evil by David Baldacci

Reggie Campion and her group of private vigilantes are in pursuit of a evil monger Evan Waller. They are not novices to exterminating evil doers and Reggie has had plenty of experience using her wiles to draw in the menaces and prepare them for the kill.

Unbeknownst to Reggie, a separate operative is also in pursuit of Waller. Mid way through the mission, they pull out but Shaw, one of their head honchos, decides to stay fearing for the safety of Reggie.

This is an intricate twisted tale of evil at its’ worst. Baldacci’s writing is very effective in making the reader acutely aware of just what evil is. Readers may find themselves not only rooting for the good guys but wishing they were one of them just to have the opportunity to exterminate Waller.

A fast-paced thriller!
