Seven Year Switch by Claire Cook

A delightful foray into the habits of a single mom and her daughter. This is a upbeat (for the most part) story about Jill, her struggles and her joys. Thrown in are a bit of intellectual musings about different cultures from which I learned a great deal.
A rainy day or a day at the beach are both fitting for reading this latest entry by Cook.
You won’t be bogged down with cloak and dagger or puzzlers. Rather your spirits will be lifted and you’ll walk away feeling better for having known Jill for a few hours.
