when in doubt, add butter by Beth Harbison

A truly delightful romp into the forays of a young single woman who just happens to be a personal chef.  She spends so much of her time cooking for other people that she has little time or energy left to focus on herself.

Gemma introduces us all to her clients and we become immeshed in their quirkiness.  There's Willa who is struggling with her weight and needs to prepare foods that are healthy.   Mr. Tuesday (whom Gemma has never seen) but enjoys his sense of humor and the great cooking space he has. She also cooks for a clairvoyant who seems to have suspicious ties to the russian mob.

Things are going well up to the point where they're not and Gemma has to reassess her whole perspective about cooking and look in a new direction.  Most of her clients come through and support he through the ordeal.

A light-hearted look at romance in the 21st century.
