I can See You by Karen Rose

Wow! Being an aficionado of Harlan Coben and Lisa Gardner, I am often hard-pressed to read a work by someone of the same caliber but I’ve discovered someone new in Karen Rose. Ms. Rose’s early works were romance novels but her more recent efforts are thrillers as one can easily discern by the titles alone such as Scream for Me and Kill for Me.

In her latest entry, Ms. Rose kept this reader glued to the edge of her seat. A very interesting series of crimes have been exposed and I was never quite certain who the perpetrator was. Actually, there we two persons who were on separate paths of destruction. One was thwarting the efforts of two of Minneapolis’ finest detectives and members of the “hat” squad. The other was murdering female computer gamers.

This thriller was very contemporary, bringing in all sorts of computer age technology to build the story and I appreciated it. I also believe lessons could be learned from this story. It captures the plight of lonely, isolated women, whose great escape lies within the realm of computer gaming.

Thank you Karen Rose for a really great read!
