Once in a Blue Moon by Eileen Goudge

Okay, I’ll be frank, the title of this novel is what caught my eye. If you like Susan Wiggs and Barbara Delinsky, you’ll like this story of two sisters who don’t always see eye-to-eye but who believe family is family.
Lindsay and Karrie Ann are separated by the foster care system at an early age when their mother is imprisoned and lose contact with each other. As an adult, Lindsay is constantly trying to locate her sister when Karrie Ann finds herself in need of her sister and contacts Lindsay instead.
What follows is an up and down ramble through their lives while they sort things out with the help of Honi, an old friend. This is a light romantic novel.
